ISLE OF MAN FREEMASONS DONATE £4,500
💷 ISLE OF MAN FREEMASONS DONATE £4,500 TO AGE CONCERN ISLE OF MAN
We are delighted to have presented a cheque for £4,500 to Age Concern Isle of Man, helping to support the charity’s fantastic work with older people across our Island community.
🤝 Provincial Grand Charity Steward of Mark Master Masons Peter Quinn, accompanied by Provincial Grand Master of Mark Master Masons RW Bro Mike Kelly and Deputy Provincial Grand Master of Craft Masonry W Bro Howard Hilton, visited Age Concern to present the cheque to Chairperson Susan Swan and Trustee Sharlotte Bird.
The donation will help Age Concern and its dedicated volunteers continue providing practical help, companionship and essential services to older people across the Island – helping them remain independent, connected and supported.
💬 Peter Quinn said:
“Charity is a huge part of what we do as Freemasons, and it is particularly important to us that we support our own community here on the Island. Age Concern does a fantastic job supporting our older generation, and we are delighted to be able to make this donation.”
💬 Susan Swan, Chairperson of Age Concern Isle of Man, added:
“We are incredibly grateful to the Freemasons for this very generous donation. This funding comes at a time when demand for our services remains high, and it will help us continue making a real difference to older people across the Island.”
⭐ A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this donation possible.
The funds were raised through the efforts of Freemasons from lodges across the Island, including their annual Masons / Mark in the Park event held on 4 July.
🏝️ Supporting local charities and organisations is at the heart of Freemasonry on the Isle of Man, and we are proud to help Age Concern continue its invaluable work within our community.
